More than 90 percent of new cars sold in brazil have flex fuel engines, allowing them to run on ethanol or gasoline or a mixture of the two. On July 30, Network 20/20 members will participate in an off-the-record discussion on “Brazil’s Burgeoning Economy” with Cesar Bonamigo, First Secretary to Ambassador Viotti, Permanent Representative of Brazil to the United Nations. As First Secretary, César Bonamigo is in charge of Human Rights, and social and economic affairs. His past experience in diplomacy includes multilateral work in peace and security, international trade negotiations, and trade promotion.

Here is a link to an article explaining why biofuel plays an essential role in the modern Brazil emerging on the global stage.

We invite you to share any articles or comments, as well as questions you plan to ask Mr. Bonamigo.
